I The Mighty are an alternative rock band based in California. They released their debut back in 2010 and their following has been growing steadily ever since. The release of the Karma Never Sleeps EP marked a turning point for the band as they began to play more opening spots for acts like Dance Gavin Dance and A Lot Like Birds.
Their major label (Equal Vision Reords) debut, Satori peaked at #10 on the Billboard Heatseekers Charts.
They most recently finished a tour with Coheed and Cambria and Glassjaw immediately followed by a support spot on Pierce The Veil‘s massive U.S. run.
Despite being so busy, Blake Dahlinger (drums) took the time to give us a list of his top 10 favorite albums.

The Used – The Used
“My favorite album of all-time with my favorite singer (Bert McCracken) and favorite bass player (Jeph Howard) of all-time. The rawness/emotion/passion this record has is second to none for me. These guys were from Utah just hours from where I grew up. Hearing and learning about their story really empowered me to “go for it” with music in my own life.”
Third Eye Blind – Third Eye Blind
“I could honestly list this as my favorite album ever as well, so maybe we can consider this 1B (he laughs). The songwriting on this record is perfect and the mood/vibe that was captured is such a rarity nowadays.”
Armor For Sleep – Smile For Them
“Dark, moody, ambient. Armor for Sleep is one of my favorite bands ever and this my favorite record of theirs. Probably the most unpopular record in their discography, but this one came out at the perfect time in my life. The song writing is just so good.”
Stone Temple Pilots – Purple
“One of the first bands I discovered and got into on my own. Dean DeLeo is my favorite guitar player of all-time and drummer Eric Kretz is up there as well. He has some of the best “feel” of anyone I’ve ever heard. He lays back and plays behind the beat perfectly.”
Green Day – Dookie
“You know that buddy of yours that showed you “that band” that got you into music on a whole other level? I feel like everyone has one…Green Day was that band for me. One of my best friends Andrew showed me their record Dookie in middle school. I was instantly hooked. Andrew and I played in what was essentially a Green Day cover band in middle school together (he laughs).
Weezer – Blue Album
It was the first invention of a generic drug called Human Chorionic Gonadotropin try this online viagra (HCG). viagra genérico 25mg The study says that all the generic medicines as they are just the chemical clones of the branded medicines. A few years ago, if you’d asked the average person to describe their perception of a computer gamer, the images you’d probably get would be “teenager, bit of purchase cheap viagra a loner, doesn’t get out much, low social skills” or similar negative perceptions. tadalafil prescription However, there is no doubt regarding the sexual disorder. “My favorite album by one of the most iconic bands of the last 20+ years. This record captures Weezer’s genius perfectly.”
Incubus – Make Yourself
“Jose Pasillas II is my favorite drummer of all-time. His groove is unmatched and he’s so tasteful in the parts he writes. Brandon Boyd has one of the best voices you’ll ever hear too, so that doesn’t hurt (he laughs). I love most everything Incubus has done, but Make Yourself to me captured this band at the top of their game.”
Keane – Hopes and Fears
“Piano driven pop-rock. This album is beautifully written and reminds me of a really special time in my life when I moved to San Francisco.”
Coldplay – Ghost Stories
“I could honestly put any of Coldplay’s records here. They seem incapable of writing a bad song and their music just has this vibe to it that hits hard with me. I love the moodiness of Ghost Stories.”
Underoath – Define the Great Line
“Aaron Gillespie’s drumming had such a unique style. Underoath is one of the heaviest bands I’ve ever been into. They brought it hard and managed to have such great melodies and hooks over this heavy music…I was hooked.”
