Cornerstone is an aggressive Melodic Hardcore band from Oak Harbor, WA. Their EP, “My Path Is Clear & It Can Only Get Better” (2014) runs at around 20 minutes and is one of the strongest releases I’ve heard from a local band. Each track blends the aggression and emotion of Hardcore with the melodic riffs typically found in Post Rock music to create the perfect blend of both.
These guys are one of my favorite bands from the area, I’ve been listening to this EP for awhile and it still remains one of my most played albums on iTunes and my phone.
