Honey Revenge is a pop rock duo from Los Angeles consisting of Donovan Lloyd (guitar) and Devin Papadol (vocals). A few months ago, they signed to indie label Thriller Records.
They’ve been consistently releasing singles since 2021 with “Miss Me”. Their talent for songwriting is clear immediately and the band has improved exponentially with every drop.
The first song I heard was “Distracted” and I instantly fell in love. The energy is infectious and it was stuck in my head for days after listening. The production is flawless while not being overly polished. This has 100% ended up on my daily rotation.
As if “Distracted” wasn’t catchy enough, the band followed it up with something arguably even MORE likely to rent permanent space in your brain. “Ride” is an anthem about pretending to be ok and perseverance despite how difficult life can get.
Their newest track, “Rerun”, is again accompanied by an incredibly high quality video by “Distracted” director Patrick Gilchrist. This is one of the few modern bands I’ve heard who know how to write relatable songs and this new single is no exception.
Every time I see the band on social media they seem like such genuinely kind people who are so grateful for their fans. The hype that’s building for Honey Revenge is extremely well deserved and I’m excited to see what’s next for them.
