CLOZVRE is a 25 year old producer and amateur 3D visual artist based in southern California. He was interested in music early on, even from 7 years old. For his 8th birthday, his father build him a PC with Reason 1.0 installed and a midi controller. And so began his daily journey with creating music.
This project has existed before under different monikers, but it evolved to the point that CLOZVRE was born.
His newest release is an extremely ambitious effort; a 25 minute audio/visual experience entitled “Oh Great Deceiver”.
The journey begins and we see 3 figures in black cloaks at the end of a hallway. And things only get weirder from there. From floating furniture to an asteroid heading to Earth, you can’t possibly guess what’s going to come next in this frantic visual. The music really does match the visual content perfectly, I recommend experiencing them together.
I know that CLOZVRE describes himself as an amateur, but he built what is basically a short film with a matching score; that’s no easy task.
As I told him, I think he should give himself a bit more credit for executing this as well as he did. If anyone needs concert visuals, you know who to hit up.
