Anyone who’s ever taken up skateboarding, even as a casual hobby, knows how physically taxing it is.
Personally, I used to skate and could only ever figure out the most basic tricks.
In the 2020 Olympics, the sport was integrated for the first time ever.
The competition has been split into two parts: street and park.
Both will include men’s and women’s events.
Competitors representing USA
Men’s street team: Chris Joslin, Nyjah Huston and Jagger Eaton
Men’s park team: Zion Wright, Alex Sorgente, Tom Schaar and Tristan Rennie
Women’s street team: Lacey Baker, Alexis Sablone, Jenn Soto and Mariah Duran
Women’s park team: Jordyn Barratt, Nicole Hause, Bryce Wettstein and Brighton Zeuner
