tiger lily is a Seattle based pop music artist. Growing up, she fronted an all-girl grunge band that went on to get recognition all over the Seattle area.
She decided to embark on the journey of being a solo artist amid quarantine last year. She’s quickly accomplished big things like breaking a million streams on Spotify and receiving support from SPIN magazine.
Her new track, “juneau, alaska” is a collab with fellow Seattle artist Fluencie. The song is inspired by nostalgia for the high school days when the two met for the first time.
Fluencie was no stranger to the music scene, either. He’s accomplished huge milestones along the way. He went on to perform at festivals like Capitol Hill Block Party and opening for acts like Blackbear and Joey Bada$$.
They recently put on an Instagram live concert to raise money for Asian Americans Advancing Justice.
“Planning out the video was a fun mess. We both directed it and neither of us make videos, so we were like ‘I want a snow machine! I want a fog machine! Wouldn’t it be cool if we got like 100 white balloons and threw in some pro tricking athletes to do flips while we dance?’ So yeah there was like zero plot but a hundred cool things happening.
