Calibre is a melodic metalcore band from Tehran, Iran. The group started as a cover band in 2015 and quickly built a following. They were able to grow to the point of selling out multiple shows in a row.
Calibre was also the first Iranian metal band to sign a record deal. This particular deal was signed with Swedish label Downfall Records.
The band cite a few of their influences as As I Lay Dying and All That Remains.
Their new single “…From the Abyss” is a less aggressive endeavor than most of their catalog. Let us know what you think!
