joyful. Exceed Expectations with Third Single, “Pilot Light”

We got to know joyful. back in March when they dropped their debut single “Strangers in the Dark” and it’s follow up “Big Funeral” in May.
The trio are back with their third release, “Pilot Light” and they’re sounding better than ever.

This is a much stronger track in my opinion. There seems to be a lot more feeling and dynamics in the vocal delivery, better production, a more precise mix and master…basically, the band are growing and evolving even quicker than I had anticipated when I met them earlier this year.

If joyful. had dropped music back in the early 2000’s there’s no doubt they would have been snatched up by Fueled by Ramen. In the current industry where a label is no longer a necessity, I’m curious to see the path that these guys go down from here.
The music got infinitely tighter and stronger very quickly, so in my eyes they have nowhere to go but up.
