In the new indictment, 6ix9ine admits that he was a “member” or “associate” of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods, which the indictment calls a “criminal organization.” According to the indictment, 6ix9ine “participated in
A guilty plea had actually been made on January 23, but wasn’t made public till 6ix9ine’s alleged kidnapper Anthony Ellison and accused Chief Keef shooter Kintea “Kooda B” McKenzie, could be added to the case and taken into custody.
6ix9ine says “I met and joined the Nine Trey Blood Gang” in the fall of 2017 around the time of the filming of “Gummo.” In the video nearly all the people in the video wear red bandanas and several even pull out “throw away” style guns to show off. “As a member of Nine Trey, the enterprise engaged in such activities including shooting at people, robbing people, and at times drug trafficking,” he continues. His lawyer originally argued that Tekashi was never a gang member, but just behaved like one as part of his rap image. “An entertainer who portrays a ‘gangster image’ to promote his music does not make him a member of an enterprise.”
He admits to being involved in three different violent incidents in 2018 where he acted in crime against rival gang members of Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods”:
Though no details are given in the plea, information lines up to the attempted shooting of Chief Keef. 6ix9ine says of that incident that he “paid a person to shoot at a rival member of Nine Trey to scare him.” The shooter, who 6ix9ine claims he offered $20,000 (but only gave $10,000), is Kintea Kooda B McKenzie. 6ix9ine also says that in 2017, “I and others agreed to sell one kilogram of heroin” in Bushwick. The rapper was seen all the internet putting a “30 pack on Tadoe ” Tadoe is a Glogang member and cousin to Chief Keef.
There are many other points to mention that will be used against his character in court. This is not 6ix9ine’s first time being arrested and pleading guilty. In 2015, he pleaded guilty to the use of a child in a sexual performance in a separate case and was later given probation when he violated the plea agreement terms.
On April 19, there was a shooting at a Casanova video shoot, and 6ix9ine’s involvement was suspected.
Just a few days later, there was a possibly related shooting outside the Barclays Center following an Adrien Broner fight. Tr3yway Shotti was initially arrested for the shooting, then released. Not long after, his longtime associate Fuguan “Fubanger” Lovick was arrested instead.
Beyond the context of this post, lots of public footage and documents show 6ix9ine involved and engaging in violent situations. These are just a few.
