We Try on Luke Seymoup’s Hand-Me-Downs

It’s been a busy year for Melbourne’s Luke Seymoup. After releasing his debut album The Professional in 2017, Luke followed this up with two releases this year: the solo ukulele EP Uke Seymoup in May and the 5-track Ska-Opera Burnett Street in September.

Luke is back with one more release to close out 2018, the two-track single “Hand-Me-Downs”.
The title track features Sydney-based songwriter Lisa De Angelis and pays tribute to ghost stories of the Hume Highway that runs between Melbourne and Sydney.
The track was recorded by Luke Seymoup in Melbourne and Sydney, mixed by Lachy Bruce (The Brothers Goon, Squid Fishing) in Adelaide and mastered at The Blasting Room (Descendents, The Lemonheads, Rise Against) in Fort Collins, Colorado. “Hand-Me-Downs” is accompanied by the B-Side “Life Got Me Down”.

FFO: The Gaslight Anthem, The Menzingers, The Wonder Years
