Last summer a band called The Vox Arcanum came across my radar. I was told they were building an epic concept album, Of Time and Fate. When I spoke with them about the record I was amazed with the narrative they had created and just how deep the story went.
Part of the story that’s wrapped up in the full length album is the Tragedy of the Locke Family.
This trilogy is brought to life in a series of videos that I talked with Tony Garcia (Rhythm Guitar) about:
“This is the first video, where we only tease the murder at the end. But its completely and directly connected to all the events following.”
“Our main character, Lomond is now directly looking for the murderer. Completely unaware who is responsible, he is warned of the future should he pursue this path. The Vox Arcanum himself intervenes.”

“And finally, it all comes together. Lomond learns who the murderer is and has to make the most difficult decision. His twin sister murdered his wife out of sheer jealousy, and now he must either kill or be killed. The process of which is much more difficult than he could ever imagine. The story is told non-linearly, in reverse. From the murder, backwards to his revelation about Avon’s madness.”
