When I first heard the band Demon In Me I realized that this was a band that took their time to hone in their craft by creating music that was not only emotionally raw but would also appeal to their fans.
With most of their songs fitting the style of a hard rock melody backed up by the soothing vocals of Kylle Reece you can hear the flow in his voice.
Their new single “Choke” begins with a soft guitar solo and than builds up with hard hitting drums in the background. Reece’s voice than comes in with anthem sounding lyrics as he sings “You’ll never know/Even days with the brightest skies/I feel the black and blue ashes in my eyes/You’ve poisoned every garden in my mind/Well is it cold.”
I really enjoyed what they did with the new single as it feels right and flows with the rest of the band’s discovery. If Demon In Me can keep of with this same momentum its safe to say that this will be one of many bands that will be added to the hall of fame for alternative rock, emo, and pop rock bands. I can’t wait to see what else these guys are going to do.
