Australian band Luke Seymoup are back with a new music video, “Charcoal and Oil”. They have a new album coming out next month and if this song is any indication it’s time to get excited.
Luke (Guitar/Vocals) had a few words to say about the new single:
“In 2012, I was taking the year off University and working a go-nowhere fast food job. It had been months since I’d written any music or played a show. I was just feeling completely unmotivated. After a particularly bad shift, I finally picked up my guitar to write a song with the intention of forcing myself out of my writer’s block. The result was “Charcoal & Oil”. The lyrics are basically me giving myself a pep talk and trying to get excited about music and life again. This song opened the floodgate that let me write a lot of what you hear on the album.”
