24hrs Drops Night Shift EP

Sometimes reinvention is the key to success. 24hrs, the artist formally known as Royce Rizzy and older brother of rapper Madeintyo, has been on a meteoric ascension ever since he ditched his rap career and began discreetly making music under the new moniker. His autotuned trap R&B style is unique in that his voice and flow, matched with a darker, more aggressive production was more of a standout among artists of the same style. Being a fan from the very beginning with the Open EP, it’s been interesting to watch him continue to develop his sound while still maintaining his core. Fast forward to a year and a half later, and he just dropped his first mainstream project moments ago in the form of the Night Shift EP.  This Night Shift project, which features Ty Dolla $ign and Wiz Khalifa, sees Twenty takes his signature sound to new heights, exploring romance and fame from an introspective point of view over a blend  of heavy synthesizers and bass lines that complement his voice perfectly. At just 30 minutes, the 8 song collection fully encompasses Twenty as artist, and and accurately shows where his mind is. If you’re a fan of the new age melding of hip hop and R&B, this is definitely a project worth listening to. Check it below, and catch 24hrs on Blackbears Digital Druglord Tour.
