The prodigal sons of modern rap have returned with some new heat. Killer Mike and El-P, also known as rap duo Run The Jewels, dropped off a new single today, as well as the release date for their next album, RTJ3. The new single, Legend Has It, displays the pair at their finest, coming in with the barrage of metaphors and punchlines you expect from them, and switching up their flows and deliveries with a bunch of different stlyes. El-P handles production with his signature synth heavy style that fits him and Mike nearly seamlessly. Over their time together as a group, they’ve been known to be sort of the perfect balance of rap, appealing to both the new and old generation of fans, and the next album is shaping up to continue that trend.
