Say what you will about Kanye West, but it’s apparent that he has a deep commitment to bringing serious artistry to hip hop as a style of music. Given free reign over about 10 minutes of MTV’s Video Music Awards this past sunday, he took it as an opportunity to premiere the video for his track “Fade”, starring artist Teyana Taylor. An artist of Kanye’s G.O.O.D. Music label, Teyana also had an episode of the MTV show My Super Sweet 16 back in the day. The video mainly features Teyana working some intense dance moves to the song alone in a gym, showing off a sexy, sensual body, with cameos from her fiance, NBA Champion Iman Shumpert, as well as the couple’s new daughter Junie.
