New Posty is here.
The curious case of Post Malone has racked the brains of many over the past few months. White Iverson, the first song he ever released, took off like a rocket, getting him a deal with Republic Records and gaining him a ton of connections in the industry. With no project behind him though, many wondered if he was just a one hit wonder waiting to implode. With the release of his first tape, Post has finally told the world that he is more that just one song. Named August 26th after the supposed release date of his debut album, the tape holds 10 tracks and has features from the like of 2Chainz, Lil Yachty, Jaden Smith, and others. The White Iverson crooner has dropped a few loosies in the past few months(#Mood, Boy Bandz, etc.) but August 26th is the first solid project we’ve gotten from him as artist. At first listen, the tape is a strong debut release from an artist whose status has been questionable since his first appearance in the game. With 4 months until his major label debut is set to drop, the hype level has increased ten-fold with this. Set to perform at JMBLYA festival in Texas the next couple of days, Post has given plenty for us to rock to with him on stage. Listen to the project below, download it here and give it a listen for yourself.
