The BFG- Movie Trailer

Holy childhood dreams come true: The BFG adapted into a movie! One of Roald Dahl‘s very best books being made into a major motion picture. It’s no surprise that Steven Spielberg signed on to direct what will clearly be one of the biggest family films of 2016.
I’m not sure any of us expected any of Roald Dahl’s books to be made into movies, but especially not a live action movie!
For those not familiar with the story, it’s about a 10-year old girl, Sophie, in London who is taken to Giant Country by the Big Friendly Giant. She is introduced to a world of magic and things she never knew existed.
I remember reading this book over and over as a kid and thinking that Giant Country would be an awesome place to see. The imagery in Dahl’s books was always so vivid and really encouraged imagination. I’m sure that Disney Studios and Spielberg will bring this story to life in a way that does it justice.
Some of the actors lending their voices to this project are Bill Hader, Jemaine Clement, Mark Rylance, and Penelope Wilton.

The BFG will be released in theaters everywhere on July 1!
