Deviant is a metalcore band with some beatdown mixed in from Florida. Starting in the summer of 2014, their self-titled LP (released March 2015) is an extremely solid album with a cool concept. Each song deals with each of the seven deadly sins: Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Wrath, Envy, and Pride.
The lyrics are dark, the instrumentation is heavy and most importantly grooves hard. The vocals themselves are great, and fit the music perfectly. I love each song on the album but Greed is definitely my favorite by far. Overall, this is a really solid album and band and I am very excited to see them grow.
