Back in October of last year, the then front woman (Alice Glass) of the dark electronic outfit Crystal Castles announced that for a “multitude of reasons both professional and personal” she would be leaving the band to pursue a solo career.
I remember being online that day and thinking that the internet must have broken because ALL I saw were posts and comments about Alice leaving Crystal Castles.
Some fans left messages of support while others’ reactions varied from dismay to outright anger. Many of us thought that would simply be the end of an era.
