DIY Saturday #19- The SoundCheck: Keeping The 239 Music Scene Alive

This idea was conceived by Cape Coral‘s own Christina Giordano. When I first heard about this, I was so excited to see someone actually involved in our local music scene again. What I didn’t know was how hard she would continue to work to consistently bring amazing coverage of local bands. Everything from interviews and shows to LIVE streaming from Rack ‘Em Billiards.
When I asked Christina (center of photo) to explain this project in a few sentences, this is what she had to say:
The SoundCheck is a vessel that supports, promotes and broadcasts local original artists. It provides a spotlight as well as interviews and reviews on local rock shows. The SoundCheck  maintains the one and only supportive organization that backs local original music.”
I couldn’t agree more. Through the tireless work of Christina Giordano, Andy Gray, and of course all the musicians I believe The SoundCheck is helping keep the 239 music scene alive and well, and for that I am very grateful.
They will be out at Rack ‘Em Billiards TONIGHT for Cape Coral Bike Night, April 11, 2015. There will be a live stream going on of the entire show!
