7 Acts We Can’t Wait to See at Aftershock Festival

Danny Wimmer has been producing music festivals since the 90’s. DWP (Danny Wimmer Presents) currently produces 14 festivals in 13 cities across the U.S.
Metal and rock music fans at large celebrated the announcement of DWP’s upcoming Aftershock Festival in Sacramento, California.
Aftershock 2019 brings us nostalgia with some of rock’s most celebrated acts. Marilyn Manson, Tool, Stone Temple Pilots, Korn, Staind, and Slipknot are just a few who are slated to perform at the 3 day event.
We’re looking forward to seeing some of the supporting acts this year. We’re already planning our stage hopping adventure.

Knocked Loose-
This is one of those hardcore acts I had heard of but didn’t really appreciate until I saw them live. The raw, unstoppable energy was contagious. This is one of those bands you’ve GOT to watch!

Beartooth-
Any fan of Attack Attack! was naturally skeptical of Beartooth at first. Caleb Shomo was determined to move forward with this group and they started getting booked for festivals what seemed like almost immediately.
One thing is for sure, one Beartooth’s music hits you in the face there’s no turning away from the pit.

Bad Religion-
Good old fashioned, angry, straight forward punk music. Bad Religion just had a way of releasing records I wanted to play on repeat. I never did get to see them live all these years, so it’s about time.

Ghostmane-
I’m so glad to see Ghostmane among all these legendary rock acts. His music is so clearly influenced by all facets of metal and hardcore, it seems like a natural setting for him to perform.
I hope this is the beginning of bridging genre gaps for future festivals.

Badflower-
Alternative rock act Badflower just released their debut LP, OK I’M SICK back in February to overall great reviews. There’s definite country/blues influence just in the guitars and the vocal delivery. The band have stayed touring and are continuing to build momentum.

Health
One of my very favorite bands and I’m so glad to see them on this line up. This is another act that I feel is massively under rated.
The tension and aggression they convey through their music is nothing less than impressive. Dare I say Health is the best industrial rock band since Nine Inch Nails?

The Crystal Method-
Some of the most iconic songs we hear in movies are by these guys. Truly innovators, this group caught my attention back in ’97 with their album Vegas.
There’s something very theatrical about The Crystal Method. When you listen to them you almost transport to another place.
Perfect addition to Aftershock Festival’s line up.
