The View From Here Bring New Perspective to the Music Scene

Rising from the suburban sprawl of central New Jersey, The View From Here formed in early 2016. The Bridgewater band delivers a sound influenced by a myriad of artists ranging from Dance Gavin Dance to Taking Back Sunday (just to name a few.) They released their debut EP, New Perspective less than a month ago on June 29th.
Reminiscent of the music scene of the mid 2000’s the band brings listeners a familiar sound while also providing a refreshing new take on heavy rock music.
You can’t really define what they do by one genre or sub genre label. There is clearly influence from all across the board. There are elements of pop punk just as much as post hardcore. Being able to blend these sounds together and do it well is what keeps The View From Here interesting and sets them apart from their peers.
