Kill No Albatross is one of those bands that when you decide to really listen to the album and can hear the layering of the guitars and the deep vocals from the lead singer and realize they have something unique to offer. The band just came out with their new EP Speak True Evil and it offers a blend of prog, rock and hardcore. Coming from Burlington, ON the band is easy to listen to and will be heading up a Summer tour run in Canada. They also will be playing on this last year’s Van’s Warped Tour. The band also released their debut album Lost in Darkness and Distance in May, 2017 and put on a great performance on CHCH TV and also had some major stops in Montreal, Toronto, and also Ottawa. They have had the opportunity to share the stage with Picturesque, Sarah Longfield, Archspire and SECRETS.
The new album was recorded at the infamous Metalworks Studios and was produced by Wayne Cochrane who has also worked with past bands such as Alexisonfire and Protest the Hero. The EP was mastered by Scott Lake who has also worked with Cancer Bats and Dead and Devine. The album artwork is featured by artist Niall Grant who hand drew all of the pictures for the album. Not only is this going to give this band a great chance to tour their home country but it is also allowing them to make a statement and keep their fanbase growing.
