Slaves – Beautiful Death
“I first met Jonny in 2016 after he did a feature on my debut EP Youngblood. The band was going through a lot of stuff and so was I at the time. I remember JC showing me “True Colors” in late 2016 at a show and it blew me away. These guys killed it with their new album. I have nothing but love and respect for them.”

Chvrches – Every Open Eye
“I’m such a nerd for this band. The synths and distortion are dance-y as hell on this album. They are so nice and very Scottish in person. The first time I saw them was in 2015 at Pitchfork and I had the best time.”

Dance Gavin Dance – Artificial Selection
“This album has put these guys front and center in the scene. This album has so many cool throwbacks too. Tilian invited my friend Robert and I to a show and we really had the best time.”

My Chemical Romance – Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge
“My brother Steve and I used to have this CD. We used to jam it all the time and sing to it. Even today when “I’m Not Okay” comes on in the car Steve, his girlfriend Nikole and I sing it at the top of our lungs.”

For All Those Sleeping – Outspoken
“This was my jam in 2012. I used to bump the CD in my car all the time. That intro is one of the coolest introductions to an album. Mike Champa will forever be a monster at his craft.”

Mansionz – Mansionz
“I love blackbear. All these songs are a really cool collaborations with Mike Posner. They sound perfect together. I can’t wait for more from them.”

Trust Company – True Parallels
“I remember seeing Kevin Palmer pick up the guitar and I just knew I wanted to do the same. So its because of this album I picked up the guitar and microphone.”

Atreyu – Lead Sails Paper Anchor
“This album got me into heavier music. I remember jamming this album a lot in high school with my friends.”

Eternity Forever – Fantasy EP
“This album is so awesome. It’s so groovy. I love Kurt‘s vocals on it and how he did them. It’ll forever be one of my favorites and I’m sad they split up. I hope reunite and make more music.”

Sky Ferreira – Night Time, My Time
“I discovered her pretty late. I love her sound. It’s so unique and anti pop. I can’t wait for her new stuff. I saw her play on New Year’s Eve. When I met her and she told me “Happy New Year” I swear I melted.” (he laughs)
