Since it’s launch in February, the channel Viceland (of Vice media) has truly pushed the limits in terms of programming. Viceland predominantly features lifestyle-oriented documentaries and reality series. There’s the Emmy nominated Gaycation, with Ellen Page exploring the LBGTQ community in different regions of the world. Also, Weediquette, a docu series about cannabis culture and industry. In the show Black Market, Michael K. Williams journeys into the dangerous world of illicit trade. For the skaters, there’s King of The Road, a series following skaters on Thrasher Magazine’s annual scavenger hunt.  As well as, Haung’s World, where Eddie Huang explores identity using food as an equalizer. And that’s just to name a few. With Spike Jonze as creative director, there is really nothing stopping Viceland from dominating the ratings, especially with their target millenial audience.

However, the real standout star is former chef and current rapper, Action Bronson. Real name Arian Asllani, he has not one but two shows on the network. There’s F*CK THAT’S DELICIOUS, in which Bronson and his crew eat their way around the world. Then there is Traveling the Stars: Action Bronson and Friends Watch Ancient Aliens. Yes, you guessed it – the show is essentially Action Bronson and his friends sitting on a couch in front of a green screen, smoking ridiculous amounts of weed, and watching the show Ancient Aliens.

Action is most often accompanied by music producers The Alchemist and Knxwledge, his cousin Big Body Bes, and various guest stars, including musicians, actors, and other associates of Action’s. Tyler, the Creator has made an appearance as well as RiFF RAFF. There are jokes, snacks and pauses to voice their own theories. Genius editing, blunts, dabs, edibles, and just general fuckery. This is bound to be your new favorite show. The best part is, Vice makes all of their content available online for free! So get your friends together, order a pizza, roll one up and enjoy!
