“I’m surprised I kept my head.”

Have you ever felt just too happy? Has it been a fat minute since you’ve questioned the what-ifs of your last breakup? Lucky for you, the four sad boiz that are Lemix J. Buckley are here to fix that. Signed to the independent label Esque Records, the “Professional Emo” band from Detroit provides a refreshingly honest sound that combines the varied elements of genres from math rock to indie and more. Lemix brings twinkly guitar taps, dancy drum chops, bobbin’ bass thumps, and heartfelt vocals together that leave both new fans and former listeners with a satisfied yet heavy heart. You should be sure to add these guys to your noodly playlists with Tangled Hair and Alaska. The band has two EP’s under their belt, the most recent of which released only a little over a year ago. “In Service of a Feeling” is Lemix J. Buckley’s first release with Esque Records.
