Donald Glover Gets Role in Upcoming Spiderman Film
Fans may remember a few years ago when #DonaldForSpiderman was trending on Twitter. Followers of both the Marvel franchise and Glover were adamant about seeing him in the role of the web-slinger.
It has been officially announced that Glover will have a role in the upcoming “Spiderman: Homecoming” which is due out in 2017.
He did do the voice for Miles Morales in Ultimate Marvel which is an imprint that features re-imagined versions of your favorite superheros.
Although we do know he will star in the movie in some capacity, his official part has not been announced.
The cast will also feature Michael Keaton as The Vulture, Zendaya as Michelle, Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, Tom Holland as Spiderman, and Robert Downey Jr. making an appearance as Iron Man.
Donald Glover has also been busy doing promo for his new series, “Atlanta”, that will premiere on FX in September. Check out the teaser trailers (which feature music from Tame Impala) below:
