If you haven’t been keeping up with one of the UK’s most talented acts, Ko_Plune take a moment to check out the interview they did with us a few months ago HERE.
This is one of those bands that doesn’t really fit into a sub-genre. Yes, it’s rock music but there are undeniable elements of jazz, funk, and pop in their music as well.
The release of their EP, Auditory Atlas, back in February found the group receiving more media coverage both in the U.S. and overseas than they anticipated. The release was well respected to say the least. So much so that the physical copies of Auditory Atlas actually sold out.
If you haven’t already, do yourself a favor and give this EP a spin. It’s refreshing to hear a band not trying to cover up their talent with over-produced noises and effects.
Check out the premiere of video of the entire Auditory Atlas release show below. The show took place on February 25, 2016 at the 1865 in Southampton.
Video editing and filming credit: Georgia Baker-Smith, Becky James, and Ellis Vaughan Prosser.
