B: I’ve never actually played the first one because I’m lame, Quentin?

Q: I loved the first one. A DC Comics fighting game with some of my favorite character and the mechanics of Mortal Kombat? Seriously sign me up. The storyline was good too, and even fleshed out way longer in the comic series that actually didn’t end until recently. Seeing how well Mortal Kombat X did, I’m exciting to see the overall direction they take with gameplay and story, and how different characters abilities get adapted in the fight system.

In the mobile realm, a new way to transmit sound from your phone to your headphones has appeared surrounding rumors that Apple will be ditching 3.5mm headphone jacks altogether for the iPhone 7. Instead, users are encouraged to use Bluetooth or Wireless headphones. The headphones shipped with the iPhone 7 are rumored to plug directly into your phones charging socket. An adapter for headphones that will connect to micro USB slots is up for sale from a Chinese developer (source).

B: I honestly just see this as a cash grab by Apple. On top of Apple Music, now they’re doing this. They probably have their reasons (other than trying to make the phone thinner which is whatever). It’d be interesting to see how this is handled by competitors, if they will keep the headphone jacks as is or try to change with Apple. I don’t see why they would, but nonetheless it will be interesting to see if the rumors are true, and how that might change the market.

Q: Being an android user, I can’t help but laugh at this. In my personal opinion, though they may try to get the phone as thin as possible, I feel this is mainly a money play, especially with the addition of apple music into the pot. Like, now customers have to pretty much pay for two separate things to make their phone capable of listening to music. I personally think this isn’t gonna go over well with consumers if the rumors pan out.

The name hasn’t been confirmed, nor has the price or specs, but based off of the chart it will be faster than the GTX 970 and slower than the GTX 980. (source)

B: I’ll be honest, I’m not as up to speed with all the in and outs of graphics cards but this will probably be the best bang for your buck you could get out of the new line. It is suggested that it will perform better than the 970 and have a lower power consumption and price. Either way, woo! More parts to make my PC even more outdated than it is currently.

Q: Teach me Branson, for I am a console pleb.
