Yes, they do take some time to make, but all you really need is to make your own mold (example seen below), wrap bacon around it, and bake.
Once they are out of the oven, you dip them in chocolate (because it blocks any holes so your shot glass remains functional, and let’s face it, it tastes amazing!)
Bourbon would seem to pair well with the taste of bacon. Any kind of rich rum is another good suggestion.
Avoid filling with things like vodka and gin, the flavors don’t seem to work well with each other.
