This innovative site was created in 2008 in Bay Area, California by Craig Stanford, Kabriel Robichaux & Matt Coalson. They added Hein Rutjes to the team as Principal Client Engineer, and they were ready to launch the site in beta.
The idea was to create an interactive environment where an artist (musician, comedian, writer, etc.) can hold a LIVE conversation with as many audience members as they’d like.
Unlike the days of chat rooms, this idea is made even better by the fact that no one can interrupt an ongoing conversation. So you can answer each question individually, and move on to the next one at your leisure.
Flawk allows for a clean interview experience. That’s how I personally tested it out. It was great to be able to hold an organized Q&A and have sidebar access to a moderator at all times to answer MY questions. One of my favorite features is that you can stream music straight from YouTube to your Flawk room while the audience waits!
This is definitely the next generation of artists interacting with fans. The very best part?
