It’s been almost 3 years since the release “good kid, m.A.A.d city”, Kendrick‘s critically acclaimed debut.
In the seemingly endless trend of “surprise” album releases, Kendrick Lamar dropped his new album “To Pimp A Butterfly” to the public out of nowhere. It was set for a March 23rd release. Instead it dropped, not so coincidentally, on the the anniversary of Tupac Shakur‘s death.
