The new cut off of DGD’s upcoming “Instant Gratification” further drives home the point that this band is evolving. Like it or not, Tilian Pearson is here to stay. They’ve learned to play off of each other more and you can easily hear Tilian’s influence to the band in these new songs.
This may finally be the year that Dance Gavin Dance gets the recognition they deserve.
The song below, “We Own The Night” is probably the closest I’ve heard the band go to the funk-infused “Happiness” era since that albums release in 2009.
