WHEELS Wednesday #11 – Lazareth BMW R1200R

R1200R Scrambler – limited to 10 numbered copies

Halfway between a Scrambler and a Café Racer, BMW R1200R this customized by Lazareth is a subtle mix between a motorcycle neo-retro, with its overall look and wire wheels, and a modern motorcycle with its engine and its equipment: Large diameter front discs and an inverted fork after sportbike.

Minimalist, the cockpit comes down to its simplest form: an analog speedometer with a few lights and mirrors at the ends of the handlebar.

These bikes, limited to a series of 10 copies, are built on the basis of a modern BMW R1200R. Only the engine and are stored paralever. The frame is entirely rebuilt on a marble in order to adapt to an inverted fork, tees fork cut weight and back loop route shortened by a few inches. Under the GRP hull and saddle custom made tank is designed and manufactured in our workshop.

The front brake is ensured by a pair of disks of 300 to 320mm in diameter coupled to 4 or 6 piston calipers following options.

To complete the range of a true cafe racer, rims radius 4.5 and 5.5 are custom made, the machined intake and exhaust a specific cones can be added to make the design of this unique model.

For this model, no limit to the customization, we leave the customer the choice to change to his liking this Scrambler and the original owners are not only in private!
